If arriving by Scrabster/Thurso ferry (Stromness):

When leaving the ferry by car, turn right (the majority of cars will be going the same way) on to Ferry Road and straight on to Kirkwall Road, you will be on this road for quite some time approx 14 miles so take in the land marks on route,  You will pass the Harry Loch on your left quite soon after leaving stromness, then a bit further on you will see the Ring of Brodger in the distance again on the left also Maes Howe just after.  Keep going through Finstown and eventually you will arrive in Kirkwall, when you see the petrol station turn right in front of it onto Pickaquoy Road, you will pass the Co-op and Somerfield superstores on your right, then you will come to mini roundabout, turn right on to Junction Road keep going onto Holm Branch Road up a hill and turn left at top (opposite Brown Distillery sign) onto Holm Road then left onto Royal Oak Road. Roselea is on the 3rd driveway on the left, 2nd house down the driveway.

Turn left off ferry and through St Margaret's Hope, then at the top turn left at the T junction sign posted to Kirkwall you will be on this road for approx 14 miles so take in the land marks on route.  You will be going across the Churchill Barriers and when at Lamb Holm the Italian Chapel will be on your right.  Keep going and on entering the town, passing the Highland Park Distillery, at then next corner turn right and then 1st on the left into Royal Oak Road. Roselea is on the 3rd driveway on the left, 2nd house down the driveway.
